Glossary
The words you will meet in the app, in plain English.
Terms
- Adaptive Curve
- The interest rate model used by Morpho markets. The app uses its shape, with a target utilization of 90%, to estimate how your own borrow moves the rate.
- Approval
- A transaction that lets a contract move a set amount of one of your tokens. On Robinhood Chain the app asks for the exact amount only.
- APY
- Annual percentage yield. A yearly rate that includes compounding. It is a snapshot of today and changes.
- Borrow factor
- On Kamino, a multiplier that makes some borrowed assets count more than one for one against your limit. Shown only when above 100%.
- Borrow limit
- The most you can borrow against your collateral, found by applying the max LTV to its value.
- Collateral
- The tokens you deposit to back a loan. On stockloan.fun, stock tokens.
- Cross margin
- One position where all deposits back all loans together. How Kamino works on Solana.
- Debt
- What you owe: the amount you borrowed plus interest that has built up.
- Drop to liquidation
- How far your collateral can fall in value before your health factor reaches 1.00, if nothing else changes.
- Gas
- The network fee for a transaction. Paid in SOL on Solana and ETH on Robinhood Chain.
- Health factor
- (Collateral value x liquidation threshold) / debt. Above 1.00 is safe from liquidation, below 1.00 can be liquidated.
- Isolated market
- A market where each loan is backed only by its own collateral. How Morpho works on Robinhood Chain: one market per stock.
- Kamino Lend
- The lending protocol stockloan.fun uses on Solana.
- Liquidation
- When a loan becomes unhealthy, others repay part of the debt and take some of the collateral plus a bonus.
- Liquidation bonus
- The extra collateral a liquidator receives as a reward. You pay for it.
- Liquidation price
- The price of a stock token at which your health factor reaches 1.00, if nothing else changes.
- Liquidation threshold
- The loan to value at which liquidation starts. On Morpho this is called LLTV.
- LLTV
- Liquidation loan to value. The single limit of a Morpho market. The app uses it as both max LTV and liquidation threshold.
- LTV
- Loan to value. Your debt divided by the value of your collateral.
- Max LTV
- The highest LTV a protocol lets you borrow up to for a given collateral token.
- Morpho

- Robinhood Stock Token
- A token on Robinhood Chain tracking a stock, issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited.
- Simulation
- A test run of a transaction before you sign it, to catch failures. Called preflight on Solana.
- Stablecoin
- A token meant to hold a steady value of one dollar, such as USDC or USDG.
- Stock token
- A token that tracks the price of a stock or ETF. It is not the share itself.
- Supply APY
- The yearly rate lenders earn at today's rates. Variable and not guaranteed.
- USDG
- Global Dollar, a dollar token used on both chains in the app.
- Utilization
- The share of a pool that is lent out. High utilization usually means higher rates and slower withdrawals.
- Vault
- A smart contract that takes your dollars and lends them out according to a curator's rules. You get shares that grow in value. The app uses Morpho vaults for lending on Robinhood Chain.
- Weekend Guard
- A helper in the app that warns about price gaps when the US stock market is closed and suggests a safer LTV.
- xStocks
- Tokenized stocks on Solana, issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited.
