What is stockloan.fun
stockloan.fun is a web app for two things: borrowing dollars against tokenized stocks, and lending dollars to earn interest.
The short version
You keep stock tokens in your own wallet. You can lock them as collateral and borrow dollars against them, so you do not have to sell them. Or you can lend dollars and earn the interest that borrowers pay.
It works on two chains, Solana and Robinhood Chain. You choose the chain with the switch at the top of the app. Each chain has its own wallet, its own markets and its own rules.
An interface, not a lender
stockloan.fun does not lend its own money and does not hold yours. The loans happen inside existing lending protocols:
- Solana: Kamino Lend, using the Kamino xStocks Market.
- Robinhood Chain: Morpho, using Morpho Blue markets for borrowing and Morpho USDG vaults for lending.
The app reads live data from those protocols, builds the transaction for what you want to do, checks it, and shows it to you. Your wallet then signs and sends it. Your position lives in the protocol, tied to your wallet address.
Non custodial
Your keys stay in your wallet. The app never sees your seed phrase or private keys and never asks for them.
Nobody at stockloan.fun can move your funds, reverse a transaction or recover a lost wallet. If this website went offline, your position would still exist in the protocol.
What you will find in the app
- Dashboard: live market totals before you connect (stock collateral deposited, dollars borrowed, average borrow rate, lend rate), and your own health once you do.
- Borrow: pick a stock token, set how much to borrow with a slider, and see the health factor and liquidation price before you sign anything.
- Lend: supply dollars, see the current supply rate, withdraw when you want.
- Positions: your collateral, loans, health factor, and buttons to repay or withdraw.
- Activity: the transactions you made, with links to the block explorer.
The Weekend Guard
US stocks only trade during set hours, but tokens and loans run all day, every day. The Weekend Guard is a helper that shows when the US market is open or closed and warns you if a price gap at the next open could liquidate your loan.
It is a rough helper based on stress assumptions, not a forecast. How it works.
Before you start
You can browse live market data without connecting a wallet. Before you connect, the app asks which country you live in and asks you to confirm that you are not a US person and that you read the risk disclosure. Your answers are kept in your browser only.
Tokenized stocks are not offered to US persons, and some other countries are restricted. See who can use it.
To use the app you also need stock tokens or dollars in your wallet, plus a little of the chain's gas token (SOL on Solana, ETH on Robinhood Chain). stockloan.fun does not sell or bridge tokens for you. The only swap it offers is inside Buy more with your loan (Solana, through Jupiter).
What it costs
What you pay when you use stockloan.fun:
- Interest on a loan, set by the protocol and variable.
- The network fee for each transaction, paid in SOL or ETH.
- Any fees the protocols, vault curators or swap venues charge themselves. The app shows the rates those protocols report.
Every fee is shown on the review screen before your wallet asks you to sign.
How stockloan.fun earns money
- Kamino referral (Solana). Kamino lets an app register as the referrer of a wallet. When a referred wallet borrows, the market's referral share of the fees Kamino already charges (part of the origination fee and part of Kamino's own share of the interest) goes to the referrer instead of Kamino. You pay exactly the same with or without it. The referrer is written into your Kamino account the first time you use Kamino and can never change. Right now both xStocks markets have a referral share of 0, read from the chain, so stockloan.fun earns nothing from this and does not set itself as your referrer. If a market turns it on, the review screen tells you before your first deposit.
- USDG lending vault (Robinhood Chain). Planned: a stockloan.fun USDG vault (a Morpho fee wrapper around Steakhouse USDG) that would take 10% of the yield as a performance fee. It is not live. Until it is, Lend USDG goes straight to Steakhouse USDG and stockloan.fun takes nothing.
- Everything else (borrowing, repaying, Buy more with your loan, alerts, Repay guard) adds no fee of ours.
Community token
There is a community token called $stockloan on Solana. It is separate from the app and the app does not use it.
